Small weddings and social events can also be hosted here for up to 16 guests. Getting here is easy – a rental car with manual transmission is provided and there’s plenty of parking.
It’s easy to see how The Architect’s Villa got its name. Sculpted from whitewashed stone, its igloo-shaped features and white décor are offset by bold splashes of lemon and lime throughout. A contoured turquoise infinity pool provides a welcoming respite from the hot Greek sun and a soak in the starlit outdoor hot tub is just the perfect way to end the day. Indoors, you’ll find a host of entertainment options, with a plasma satellite TV and DVD player, a CD player and iPod dock. Pour yourself a drink from the mini-bar or rustle up a fresh juice in the citrus-fresh kitchen and snuggle on the sofa while you listen to your favorite playlist.
Salute the sun each morning with an espresso on the poolside terrace. Breakfast is provided daily and for an extra cost you can hire a private chef, butler, security guard and driver. Enjoy your meals at the dining table in the living area or the kitchen, or you could cook up a storm on the outdoor barbecue. Later, let your cares drop away off the edge of the pool as you sip chilled champagne by the soft light of colorful candles.
All that salt-laden air is bound to make you sleepy and there are three very comfortable air-conditioned bedrooms ready to sweep you away to dreamland, lulled by the sound of the waves on the shore below. Each room is simply and restfully styled so there’s nothing to distract you from a good night’s sleep, and the traditional shutters will block out the Santorini sun until you’re ready to awaken. Mosaic tiled bathrooms (one en-suite) with walk-in showers and a tub add an extra touch of luxury.
Round trip transfers are included with your accommodation and activities and excursions can be arranged for an extra fee. If you feel like exploring the area, there’s a bus stop nearby and within 10 minutes you can be on the beach, shopping for groceries or discovering Greek restaurants in the nearest town.
