The layout of the villa takes the form of traditional Santorini houses. As the village of Megalochori is surrounded by vineyards, the villa continues this theme with unusual light fittings fashioned out of the basket-like vines. The farm-style kitchen is large and fully equipped with an antique dining table and beautifully crafted chairs and modern appliances. Cutlery and crockery are housed in an ornate antique dresser, adding an old-world charm to the kitchen. Through an arched passageway, leading from the kitchen, you will find the comfortable living room with doors leading out to the courtyard and pool.

Villa Io accommodates up to six guests and children are welcome. The two main bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, while there is a further sleeping area in the loft with two single beds, ideally suited for children over six years old.

There’s a lot to see and do away from the villa during your vacation. You can enjoy a day out at the beach, people-watch in Megalochori village, charter your own boat for the day and take to the ocean (extra costs apply and advance notice may be required) or drive into nearby Fira and Oia and sample a livelier pace of life.
