Discover the hidden charms of Paros at Villa Drazen. Set on a quiet hillside near the town of Ambelas, the sun-drenched villa has views over the terraced landscape to the Aegean Sea. A traditional mix of whitewashed and stone walls and three bedrooms, including one in a separate guest house, provide an enchanting setting for a romantic getaway or family vacation.
The heart of the villa is a large, sunny terrace with ocean views, an L-shaped infinity pool and plenty of daybeds and chairs for lounging. A covered pergola with a dining table is a shaded spot for al-fresco meals. Other outdoor features include a gas barbecue, shower, built-in sitting area and a second-floor balcony. Inside, the villa has a sound system and Wi-Fi for entertainment and a wine cellar to house your newly discovered Greek vintages.
As you’d expect from a home on the Greek islands, the interiors of Villa Drazen have airy whitewashed walls and cool marble floors, with some wood-beamed ceilings adding natural texture. In the living room, neutral-toned sofas, a decorative fireplace and Moroccan-style accents create an atmosphere that’s both serene and cozy. The adjacent dining area, which seats eight, has a large picture window looking out to the pool and ocean, and opens to the terrace. Just beyond the dining area, the fully equipped kitchen has warm brick and cream cabinets and a practical island layout.
There are two bedrooms in the main house at Villa Drazen and one in a separate guest house. Each bedroom has a double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower. In the main house, there’s one bedroom on the ground floor and one bedroom upstairs, which opens to the balcony. The guest house has its own kitchenette and sitting area in addition to the bedroom.
During your stay, have a swim in the Aegean at Contaratos Beach, 3 miles away, or Santa Maria Beach, 5 miles away. Villa Drazen is 3 miles from the town of Naoussa, 8 miles from the port of Parikia, 8.5 miles from the town of Paros, and 16 miles from the town of Alyki. If you’ll be flying to or from Paros, the island’s national airport is about a 25-minute drive from the villa.
